New Update!

New Update!

District 228 Students, Staff, and Families,

Thank you for your patience as we eagerly awaited further guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), and the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).

On Friday, July 9th, all three organizations supported and shared guidelines for schools from the CDC which can be found here.

After carefully reviewing these guidelines, our district has created this communication to further explain expectations for our students and staff during the 2021-2022 school year.

Please understand that as guidelines and/or local COVID-19 data changes, our expectations for the school year may also have to change. I will always communicate these changes to you in a timely manner.

Again, thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing our students back in our buildings this fall.

Sincerely,

Brad J. Sikora, Ed.D

Superintendent

Bremen High School District 228
