We are proud to announce 12 BHS Braves completed the requirements for the Community Health Workers (CHW) certificate through Sinai Urban Health Institute and the Cook County Department of Public Health High School Pipeline pilot program. 8 of the students will also complete a summer internship at Cook County Dept. of Public Health this summer. Thank you @juniorachievementofchicago for bringing the JA Town Simulation to BHS! Mrs. Guzak & Mr. Harris' Personal Finance students worked through the real-world budgeting simulation! With the help of 25 business & community volunteers, 169 Personal Finance students were given a career and salary and had to work through a monthly budget. Students made financial decisions, weighed pros and cons of their decisions and tried to end the month with money leftover. #BremenBraves #NGPF #TeachPersonalFinance #JuniorAchievement
Bremen High School students took a deep dive into real-world money management at JA Finance Park! With the help of 25 business & community volunteers, 169 Personal Finance students built budgets, made financial decisions, and gained valuable life skills. #BremenBraves
