Congratulations to the eighty-eight NHS Inductees inducted into the National Honor Society at a moving ceremony at OFHS on Oct. 25 at 6 p.m.
The NHS Induction ceremony was really wonderful. The President of NHS, Abdulgafahr Lawal, spoke on the Four Goalds of the National Honor Society. The 1st Vice-President, Fiona O’Neill spoke on one of the four pillars of NHS, Scholarship, and the 2nd Vice-President, Nathan Powers, spoke on the importance of service. Secretary Scott Sosnowski spoke on Leadership and Treasurer Jenna Hughes spoke on Character.
Our OFHS Principal, Mrs. Jane Dempsey, and Assistant Principal, Dr. Michael Boniface, hosted the candle-lighting ceremony. After this, President Abdulgafahr Lawal led the National Honor Society Pledge and the dismissal from the ceremony.
