Oak Forest High School is pleased to announce that 28 students from Oak Forest High School’s graduating class of 2024 have been recognized as Illinois State Scholars.
The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), the state’s college access and financial aid agency, presents this important recognition of academic achievement to exceptional Illinois high school students annually. The 2024-2025 State Scholars are “the best and the brightest” of Illinois high school seniors in the Class of 2024.
This year’s Illinois State Scholars represent approximately the top ten percent of high school seniors from 676 high schools across the state. Illinois State Scholars are chosen based on a combination of exemplary ACT or SAT test scores and sixth semester class rank.
"Congratulations to our Illinois State Scholars! Your dedication to academic excellence shines brightly, inspiring others to reach new heights,” said District 228 Superintendent Dr. Brad Sikora. “May your future endeavors be as bright as the intellect you've displayed in earning this prestigious honor."
