Oak Forest, IL — Bremen High School District 228 proudly announces that the Oak Forest High School Instructional Materials Center (IMC) has officially been recognized as an AISLE Exemplary School Library Award winner by the Association of Illinois School Library Educators (AISLE).
This distinguished honor recognizes school libraries across Illinois that exceed the highest standards for Planning and Instruction, Learning Environment, Leadership, and Library Administration as defined in the Linking for Learning evaluation manual.
Of all the high schools in Illinois, Oak Forest High School is one of only ten libraries ever to receive this award—a milestone achievement that celebrates the library’s outstanding commitment to student learning and innovation.
The Oak Forest IMC has become a cornerstone of academic and personal growth for students. The award highlights their creative leadership and the library’s transformation into a true hub of discovery, connection, and exploration.
