Learning why Chgo is anything but ordinary 🚤🏙️ OFHS Chgo History students ventured out of the classroom to downtown for an architecture boat tour. Despite the mini rain shower, students enjoyed their informative tour & a visit to Navy Pier.

OFHS junior student, Grace F., realized a need in the school & took action. Grace is enrolled in OFHS's child care pre-school class, taught by Mrs. Osmolak, & noticed that some of the toys were getting old & outdated. As an OFHS Key Club member, Grace took the mission statement to heart & made lasting differences in the lives of children by raising funds to purchase new toys which were given to the preschoolers after spring break.
Grace decided to sell Valentine's Day cookie kits & thanks to the help from The Farmhouse Academy in Crest Hill, who donated all the baking supplies & opened up their business to Grace & other Key Club members to make & assemble the cookie kits, she was able to raise over $1,000. To say this was a complete community success is an understatement as kits were purchased by OFHS staff, students & even community members.
