Mrs. Faulkner's PE classes had a nice change of scenery - her PROUD PE class had a visit from the Bengal Boys Volleyball team & her Lifetime Fitness & Act. 3 classes experienced goat yoga.

Art students shared their hard work, creativity, & unique perspectives this week w/their work on display for all of Bengal Nation to view. From personal paintings to intricate sketches & sculptures, every artwork tells a story worth stopping by to view. Bengal Nation has so many talented high school artists 🎨✨

This week the OFHS IMC turned into an Art Gallery thanks to Mr. Chambers' & Mr. Magierski's Spring Art Exhibit. Students from their various art, ceramics & sculpting, drawing & painting, & AP art & design classes displayed their creativity for all of Bengal Nation to view. Each students' artwork reflects their skill, personal expression & artistic growth. Thank You for sharing w/Bengal Nation!

Senior Lit Fest not only gave senior English classes an opportunity to take part in a Q & A w/OFHS alums & authors Bridget Morrissey & Ian Ryan, the students also had various activities to chose from like Creating a Poem, making buttons, visiting the Sticker Swap station, & etc.

Bengal Senior English classes celebrated the start of Spring Break & lifelong reading in one exciting event when they had a special visit from OFHS graduates & authors Bridget Morrissey & Ian Ryan.

Bridget, who lives in sunny LA & jumps at every chance to visit Oak Forest, has written 4 adult novels & 3 YA books; Ian, who's writing life started in high school & hasn't stopped, has contributed to poetry & fiction collections, writes sports pieces, has published 1 book of short stories, & 2 books of poetry.

Our seniors had a very memorable day not only being part of a Q & A w/Bridget & Ian, but they took part in numerous activities & received signed copies all while listening to the music of Mr. Chambers & Mrs. Cotrano (a BIG THANKS to everyone that made this special event happen!)

A wonderful morning full of great food, conversations, special appearances by the OFHS Jazz Band, Show Choir, our preschoolers & of course a few games of BINGO.

OFHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes recently boxed up care packages of items they collected last month for cancer patients for Phil's Friends - a Christian organ. that sends care packages to those going through chemo treatments.
