OFHS had a great sports day on Saturday....Nick M. & Hudson N. both qualified for State in Boys XCountry; Girls Swim Team are your 2025 SSC Blue Conf. Champions for the first time in 15 years (also 10 first place finishes, 2 broken school records & countless time drops) & your football team won their 1st playoff game (Round 2 this Saturday @ home). It definitely was a great day to be a BENGAL!! Good Luck to all as they continue post season!

OFHS students Bring Dia de los Muertos to Life!

Oak Forest students & their teacher Mrs. Mathis proudly led a vibrant Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration @ the OF Pk Dist, sharing the beauty & meaning of this cherished tradition w/the community. Attendees enjoyed a heartfelt presentation about the holiday's history & symbolism, followed by story time that brought the colorful characters & traditions of the day to life. The celebration concluded w/crafts & activities making paper marigolds, sugar skulls & remembrance art honoring loved ones. It was a joyful, educational event that connected our community through culture, creativity & remembrance.

Mrs. Collins' Am History classes took part in an activity of the Lewis & Clark expedition with different stations set up around the halls to represent the journey along the NW Passage. Students encountered scenarios similar to those faced by Lewis & Clark which helped them better understand the experiences & hardships of early Am. explorers.
