For a 5th time OFHS art class part. in the Memory Project & this year's Studio Art & Design class had the opportunity to connect w/children across the world through portraits & a personal written message (photographs of these children are sent to Amer. art students who then produce a portrait from the photo). The Amer. students expand their world view & realize their actions can affect someone positively no matter where they live. Artwork has been sent to children in Columbia, Ukraine (refugees in Poland), Venezuela & Rohingya (refugees from Myanmar). Mrs. Udziela's Applied Engineering class tested their creativity after designing & building Judo Robots using the concepts of hydraulics - they created both vertical & horizontal movements in order to battle their opponent where size restrictions were in play.

Mrs. Matys' Environmental Investigations class visited Sagawau Environ. Ctr & part. in bird banding; assisted in wildlife telemetry & located wildlife by signals sent out from their radio collars; & collected data on Oak trees & found Oak trees over 400 yrs.

Mr. Mooney's Integrated Physics class learning Newton's Law of Motion (2nd Law) - greater the mass greater the force needed to accelerate an object...and those objects were a tennis ball and a bowling ball.

Congrats to the 7 Bengals that took part in our 1st Signing Day of the year!!! You should be so proud of your hard work & dedication - Good Luck next year playing at the next level!
