After a W vs Lincoln Pk HS today, the OFHS Baseball program honored the 1985 State Champ team members with the unveiling of commemorative signs that will now be displayed @ Bengal Nation.

In their 1st ever season, the Bengal Bass Fishing Team took 3rd pl @ Regionals on Wolf Lake ! Congrats to Diego P., Daniel G., Derek R., & Adam W., & Coaches David & Valiska!
Not only are they headed to Sectionals but they took 1st pl bass for 2.86 lbs & 3rd pl bass for 2.66lbs.

Mr. Matlon's Intro to Business class recently had their annual Food Truck Expo @ OF. Students had the opportunity to showcase what they have learned about in mkting, advertising, & teamwork. Various classes & faculty had the chance to listen to their pitch & vote on the best. Great job by all!

The Class of 2025 students started their last day @ OFHS w/a chilly start at Bengal Stadium at 5am - even though they didn't see the sunrise they had a great time!

Principal Mrs. Dempsey & AP Mr. Boniface had the honor of attending the Illinois Principal Assoc. breakfast where 3 of our outstanding students, Madison Prim, Tanya Wiseman & Ian Doll were recognized for their hard work, leadership & dedication as Bengals! Congrats to Mr. Rojek & his Symphonic Band for being selected by the Illinois High School Assoc. as "Best of Day" by the judges. They recently received their certificate for recognition of the "Most Superior Musical Performance" heard by judges. Bengal Nation is so proud!!
