Congrats to Mr. Rojek & his Symphonic Band for being selected by the Illinois High School Assoc. as "Best of Day" by the judges. They recently received their certificate for recognition of the "Most Superior Musical Performance" heard by judges. Bengal Nation is so proud!!
OFHS Choral Dptmt performed their annual benefit "Pop" Concert & raised money for Alzheimer's Awareness. It was such an amazing night by all the talented students - Broadway Night @ OF.
OFHS Diversity Club put on an amazing event - their annual Cultural Fair. Students & staff enjoyed the wonderful performances & sampled a variety of foods during the fair. Thank you to all the students & staff who participated & helped make it happen!

Mental Health Awareness Week ended w/a schoolwide assembly where special guest speaker Kevin Atlas talked to Bengal Nation about the obstacles he has overcome & explained the importance of having confidence in yourself while supporting others. The OF Social Workers & students celebrated Mental Health Awareness Week w/multiple activities everyday from chalked messages at the entrance to handing out positive message buttons & watching movies in the cafeteria while writing thank you ltrs expressing gratitude.
